Account Deletion

You can request deactivation of your account, or permanent deletion of your account and data, at any time — either from inside the app or from this page. You do not need to reinstall the app to do this.

Option 1 — From the app

Open the app and go to Settings → Account, where two separate actions are available:

  • Deactivate Account — signs you out of every device and blocks sign-in, but keeps your data in case you want to come back.
  • Delete My Account & Data — does the same immediate sign-out, and also requests permanent deletion or anonymisation of your data (see below).

Option 2 — From the web

Email info@repairsetu.in from the address on your account, or with your registered mobile number, and ask us to deactivate or delete your account — say explicitly which one you want. We process requests within a reasonable time and will confirm once it's done.

What "deactivating" means

Deactivating is not a data wipe. When your account is deactivated:

  • You are signed out of every device immediately and cannot sign back in.
  • Your business profile, customer, appliance, job and invoice records are kept as they were, in case you contact support to reactivate the account.
  • A deactivated account is not guaranteed to be recoverable forever — we may permanently delete the data associated with a deactivated account after an extended period of inactivity. Once that happens, it cannot be undone.

What "deleting" means

Choosing Delete My Account & Data (in the app, or by email) requests permanent erasure, not just deactivation:

  • You are signed out of every device immediately and cannot sign back in, same as deactivating.
  • Your business profile, customer, appliance, job and invoice data will be permanently deleted or anonymised within 30 days of the request.
  • Records we are required to keep for longer under law (for example, invoicing/tax records) are retained for that legally required period even after deletion.
  • Once the 30 days pass and data is erased, this cannot be undone.
